*CANCELED* Herbal Distillation with Fleur + Forage

May 28 @ 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Join us as we fire up our Copper Still to create an herbal pine hydrosol!  A hydrosol is the water portion of a plant distillation.  Many people are familiar with distillations for the production of essential oils, but hydrosols are also an incredible medicine! Hydrosols are safe for all ages and skin types as they are water based. You can use them in a variety of applications (i.e. to freshen up your linens, as a facial toner, for wound care) and can be taken as an internal remedy (similar to how you would use a tincture, or as a fun addition to a drink!)  They have a long history of use and are tantalizing to all the senses.

At Fleur + Forage, we distill a variety of plants, urban-crafted from our local Atlanta region. The hydrosols we distill will be used in our Free Clinic as well sold as a fundraiser for the Grow a Row Program, which is dedicated to building herbal infrastructure in the Atlanta area. We hope you can join us!

Event price $20. Call 404-255-5207 to register.
